The Panasonic BQ-CC16 is a fast charger with a unique accelerated charging process. The batteries will be charged more quickly using this fast charger than a standard NiMH battery charger. The quick charger is equipped with its own microprocessor that controls the battery charging process. It also protects against overheating, overcharging, or charging dry battery cells.

The Panasonic BQ-CC16 fast charger has a LED indicator for each battery status. Each of these diodes indicates if the charging is in progress or not.
